Dentistry

There is growing demand for dentistry within companion animal practice so to meet that need we have recently purchased a new pneumatic dental unit with high and low speed hand pieces and ultrasonic scaler. This enables dental procedures to be undertaken quickly and effectively minimizing anaesthesia time.

Ultrasonography

We have recently purchased a new high definition digital ultrasound enabling high resolution soft tissue scanning for companion animals particularly of abdomens for disease or pregnancy as well as Doppler echocardiography for heart disease investigations.

Diagnostic Services

Our range of diagnostic equipment includes

Radiography

We have an automatic X-ray developer for fast consistent  radiographs.

Endoscopy

Several endoscopes of various sizes are available within the practice. These enable us to examine the upper digestive tract and airways in a noninvasive fashion.

Electrocardiograms

ECGs are used to assess electrical function and rhythm of the heart.

As well as performing many laboratory procedures ourselves we are fortunately located within 2 minutes drive of a leading animal diagnostic laboratory for accurate and rapid pathology and blood results.
